We enabled innovative healthtech, Spectrum.Life, to engage, empower and transform across three main sectors — radiating the new energy needed to fuel international ambition. This identity, website and digital toolkit enhances their ability to communicate full spectrum support as a whole-of health partner.

A mission “to change and save as many lives as possible” permeated Spectrum.Life’s organisation, from board level to clinical and tech teams. For the innovative Irish healthtech, caring wasn’t just a value; it’s the very fabric of their team — woven into every action and decision.

But care alone, as noble as it is, isn’t enough. To make change in the world, a business must partner ambition with commercial acumen; a combination that had prompted rapid growth and a culture of transformation at Spectrum.Life. They needed a brand that could illuminate them as the preferred whole of-health partner who provides accessible, personalised and life-changing digital health and wellbeing experiences.

The new brand had to a) build a reputation and raise awareness through a clear brand positioning in the market b) support international growth and ensure flexibility and adaptability for sales engagements across different cultures c) improve clinical talent attraction and retention, developing clear employee value propositions.

We needed a new brand to reflect where we are now – without losing sight of who we are as a company - and one that can grow with us. Our new brand identity represents our evolution into a healthtech innovator, delivering scalable digital health solutions while remaining true to our founding principles.

Embracing a dynamic pace of change, anticipating future opportunities, and remaining firmly rooted in a core mission, we brought a full-spectrum brand to life. The strapline ‘full spectrum care, for a full spectrum life’ unlocked creative opportunity for the identity while directly communicating the offering and impact Spectrum.Life has on people’s lives.

‘Full spectrum care’ captures the abundant services of care across digital health, mental health, and wellbeing. ‘Full spectrum life’ captures the ability to engage, empower, and transform lives across diverse experiences.

Drawing inspiration from the analogy of the spectrum of light – and leaning into their evocative name – a ‘spectrum’ device was placed at the heart of the brand. This prompted a visual identity composed of different colours, frequencies and shapes, but all part of one unified system. Using this metaphor with multiple spectrums, we captured the many ways Spectrum.Life supports a myriad of lives and experiences.

Designing a unique brand capable of supporting all facets of the business to thrive required a full identity — one rich enough to provide depth but simple enough to provide clarity.

The Spectrum.Life logo is a modified wordmark, where a custom ‘m’ mimics the wave and wobble of the ‘spectrum’ device. Using Raptor V3 for the wordmark and main display type conveys professionalism, modernity, and approachability, while providing legibility and versatility across various media.

‘Full spectrum colour’ personifies the vivid experiences, radiant outlook and impactful services that Spectrum.Life deliver. Colour also plays a pivotal role in flexing to specific audiences. Whether using neutral colours for insurer audiences to imagine their own brand being the hero, engaging workplace audiences with a bold purple, or ramping up vibrancy for diverse education audiences, the Spectrum.Life brand is always prepared to communicate across the full spectrum.

‘Full spectrum adaptability’ highlights a fluid, flexible and versatile system. Developing an engaging and empowering internal digital environment, we transformed the way the Spectrum.Life team interact with their brand through access to brand resources, guidance and assets. An external website clearly signposts insurers and HR buyers to the abundant Spectrum.Life solutions and services through sector-specific messaging; highlighting clinical excellence, robust tech infrastructure and the total ability to support people to thrive, no matter their need.

Seamlessly flexing to meet audiences, interactions, and experiences, we translated the brand across the full spectrum of its touchpoints. This shaped an engaging internal digital toolkit and external website, an empowering best-in-class care platform and transformed sales communications capable of forming new partnerships.

In-depth one-on-one discussions, rigorous research and strategic insights informed the new Spectrum.Life visual and verbal identity. This full spectrum messaging ensures business conversations – for employees and buyers – were turbocharged across every stakeholder.

Working with a partner whose values of care clearly run so deep made for a project full of support and close collaboration. From multiple in-person workshops at Spectrum.Life’s HQ in Dublin and the UnitedUs studio in Brighton, to digital collaborative sessions, this partnership of care, consideration and creativity was mutually shaped across a full spectrum of experiences and lives.
