Junior Designer
Overview of role
Design Execution
- Support the creative team in the delivery of high-quality visual identities, ensuring all design work aligns with the established brand strategy and client objectives.
- Execute design tasks across various touchpoints, including digital assets, print collateral, social media content, and presentation decks, with a keen eye for detail and layout.
- Work closely with Senior Designers to refine concepts and produce final artwork that is ready for production or digital implementation.
- Maintain and organise project files according to agency standards, ensuring version control and accessibility for the wider team.
Creative thinking
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative workshops, contributing fresh ideas and original perspectives to the design process.
- Develop an understanding of how to translate brand stories and narratives into compelling visual languages.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to bring innovative thinking to every project.
Marketing and promotion
- Assist in the creation of visual content for UnitedUs’ own marketing channels, including social media graphics, blog imagery, and case studies.
- Support the preparation of pitch decks and presentation materials for new business opportunities.
- Contribute to the agency’s award submission process by preparing high-quality visual case studies and supporting documentation.
People
Your responsibilities
While this role does not have direct reports, you are expected to be a proactive and collaborative member of the creative team. You will work closely with designers, strategists, and account managers to ensure the seamless delivery of projects. You should be open to feedback and eager to learn from more senior members of the agency.

Skills
Design Proficiency: Strong foundational skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Experience with Figma or motion design is a plus.

- Collaboration: A positive, “can-do” attitude with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Communication: Able to articulate creative ideas clearly and take constructive feedback on board.
